Tell me what you would like to see in VSR. Can be anything at all. Flying maulers? Recyclers? New Game Modes? The Staypuff Marshmellow man?

All ideas/opinions will be reviewed and considered by Zero Angel.

Recycler should be able to pack up by itself, not "upgraded" by cons. That'd be great. Also, it shouldn't be necessary to have factory to pack up the rec, if thats possible :-P

I can make the Recycler build it's own "Undeploy" option. It'd go like this: 1 "Recycler" > 3 "Build" > 0 "Undeploy" and poof, it undeploys.

Here's a list of some COOL things you should do with VSR:

1: Implement Mr Twoshed's Dr. Who race.
2: Allow power generators to be upgraded 3 times.
3: Give gun towers blast, and remove the requirement for a relay bunker.
4: Give walkers/maulers the ability to jump.
5: Implement a VSR physics using Heavy Sabre II.
6: Mobile Bomber Bay.
7: Decrease the balance slider of Scions from -80% to 0%, for equal balance of all races.
8: Make lots of cool new visual and sound effects for stock weapons.
9: Add Heavy Hover Pack II to the pilot arsenal.
10: Give ISDF submarines.
11: Make a new aircraft unit for all of the races.
12: Add Bomber Bay as a requirement to upgrade exractors.
13: Include maps by "Dataanti".
14: Add Cyber's Army Skins.
15: Increase the health of Wasp and Comet by 300%.
16: Heavy Mobile Bomber Bay.
17: Give Scion Maulers shields.
18: Give ISDF Day Wrecker mortars that recharge ammo like pulse. (Like in UEP, except in UEP it's for Scions instead of ISDF.)
19: Give buildings Day Wrecker explosions.
20: Add the ability for pilots to assasinate eachother sneacked wen 10 massurbate ever since

It would be cool if you could add an "assassination" mode into VSR, where one player tries to sneak up behind a group of pilots during a meeting perhaps? and assassinate the leader using arc stream.

We should even be able to remove the factory requirement (which was added only to prevent game loss condition from occuring when packing rec without a factory up)

Here we go.

Make lancers less agile.
Slow rate of fire of wasps slightly.
Reduce effectiveness of popper archers (scions have too strong an offense to need such good defense). It proves to be extremely difficult to combat any scion base that has a raised terrain. Ex - on quagmire; archers can be placed snugly on a dower behind the middle hill to enemy base, making it very difficult for races such as ice cream or hadeans to approach and fight without being owned.
Blink seems to be too effective when blinking across short distances. May want to increase ammo consumption slightly.
Ice cream scouts should have increased acceleration when morphed (sometimes difficult to catch up to scavs that are moving away)
Any way to fix hedoux from sliding around as if they were on skates?
Ice cream gun tower needs to be able to somehow fire around its area. Although this may end up only being able to be resolved by changing the model itself, I believe it is worth it. Ice cream defenses already are severely lacking against heavier units, and this doesn't do much to help. Main examples I've seen it fair are when warriors blink up close and kill it while taking shots from 2-3 turrets that do no damage to it.
Vannihilator needs more hp. It is simply too slow and sucks at hitting any units in order to be considered useful. A 100 scrap unit shouldn't require 12 healers on it. Are 12 healers on a vannihilator really acceptable?
Most other ice cream changes have already been implemented by Cloaket
Remove the hover pack from vsr.
In future, add vsr maps based on a vote from members on the forums
In future, add any changes to effects based on a vote (don't like all weps looking like 2sheds energy weps)

Any changes that deviate from stock 1.2-style play without actually changing the gameplay for the better should be reverted.
Ex: hover pack is never used, nor ever will be. It doesn't counter any sort of strength or weakness of one race. The same can be said for any and all effects added to vsr. The only example I can think of where something should be changed without it effecting gameplay too much is the force crate....

These are my observations after playing many games with and against the races & units that I propose the changes to.


p.s. I think GBD is failing to see what VSR is meant to be. Yes, ice cream is a silly race added in for fun; however, VSR is all about 1.2-style gameplay with race-balancing thrown in. We don't want to derail vsr with stupid shit like scion gunships and flying maulers etc.

i have nothing to say about icecream balance as i don't know shit about them cept the scouts cant catch up to scavs yeah, ive experienced that

but main points reducing popper archers coz quite franky they are retardly bs i reckon they should have a range of 180-200 maximum even then its like having a weak rocket spire or something which i think is pretty lame

iirc the lancer still moves like a sabre when morphed, i reckon its turning should be complete shit, sort of like an ai rocket tank. i think its a good idea to think of it like a weapons platform rather than a combat vehicle - ie make it very manoeuvrable when morphed.

i think also a good idea is to make wasps fall alot slow to counter people hiding behind hills, strafing and holding left mouse button being useful.

and agree with the removal of unnecesary bs like the hover pack and a shotgun or something that was added as a pilot weapon?? and we have a lot of maps that have never really been played, ever.
