This version of the map pack comes with several bug fixes and a map thumbnail selector. (Screenshot)

To install, simply extract to (BZ2Root).
If you already have the 1.3 strategy map pack installed, you will need to manually delete the old version.
Depending on which version you have, you may need to either go into "(BZ2Root)\addon\missions\multiplayer" and delete "1.3 Strategy map pack", or you may have to delete both of the following folders:
"(BZ2Root)\maps13\missions\multiplayer\3rdParty\1.3 Strategy Map Pack"
"(BZ2Root)\addon\1.3 Strategy Map Pack"
After doing this it is safe to install the current version of the map pack.
Skipping this step will cause bad assets on some of the maps and file conflictions.
(BZ2Root) is wherever you have BZ2 installed, most likely in: c:\program files\Battlezone II

To use the map thumbnail list, press game options button and click on the image.

Note for those with my custom shell: You will have file conflictions with the thumbnails images of the maps, to fix delete the following folder: (ONLY follow this step if you have the custom shell)
"(BZ2Root)\addon\missions\multiplayer\1.3 Strategy Map Pack\Map Thumbnails\Images\01"

Download links: (7-Zip added for extra compression, but if you can't extract 7z files download Zip instead.)

Current Version: 0.1
(Displayed in Game Options ingame)

Use this thread to post any bugs encountered in game with any of these maps.
Be sure to include the map name and all details possible, if a crash occurs on a map at any point paste your BATTLEZONE.log in this thread (Only right after the crash, running BZ2 again erases the previous log), which is located in one of these two locations:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Battlezone II\BATTLEZONE.log
(BZ2Root)\BATTLEZONE.log
(Open with notepad, or a text editor)

bit.ly URL to link to this thread: http://bit.ly/STMapPack (Works either title case, or lower case.)

Dropbox generally comes pretty highly recommended.

We can host this file here if you like in our downloads section. Nice selector.

That would be practical and appreciated for a final release, but currently I want to test every map in actual 4v4 or 5v5 games to make sure there are no problems on any of the maps, so new versions will be coming up frequently.

I know ice age has some kind of problem, but it only seems to occur in multiplayer with many players.

The time I'm on varies completely all the time, but from experience I can estimate that most people are on from 2PM to 1AM US Central Time.

I watched a -Gaza- game with 10 players yesterday ... where you were still in the shell after 30min ...
You could have played a game in that time :) (and bumped someone so I could join :D)

Hope you did eventually play that game ;)

Strats are played for hours on end, what you saw was what QR2 does when you look at how long the game has been going. There is no real way to tell if the game is in shell or being played. I will assume though, that if it said waiting in shell or not started for 30 minutes, that they were already well into the game.

Now installs completely into addon\missions\multiplayer instead of both maps13, and partially into addon.

Um. Yes why? despite the opinions of some people, the developers do actually know what they are doing and why.
You should have installed completely to maps13, that's what its there for.
Now any mod installed on bz2 will have access to all the strategy map pack maps, wether or not they are compatible with that mod or not. So I guess it will be down to mod makers to inform users to either NOT install this pack or how to reinstall it so they don't end up with loads of errors once a mod is installed...Well done.

The whole point of Maps13 is so that A BZ2Mod can NOT look into it and still use addon as it is supposed to be used. Addon is for addons. Maps13 is for maps.
