Cloaket's Battlezone 2 Shell
Version 1.0 -- Author: Cloaket

This addon adds many new features to your BZ2 interface:
  • Main Menu is now integrated into the login screen
  • Changes to the multiplayer shell, including customizable host presets, ability to select maps by picture, and several tweaks and features.
  • Newkeys hotkeys addon is built-in
  • Improved F-Slots addon is built-in
To Install:
  1. Download Cloaket's BZ2 Shell
  2. Extract the file to your Battlezone 2/Addon folder (requires a program that can extract .7z files -- such as WinRAR or 7-Zip)
  3. Go into your [ Battlezone 2\addon\config\game ] folder and delete the files that start with bzgame_team (or simply rename them to something else)
Notes:
This file conflicts with Newkeys and F-Slots Addon. If you installed these previously, then you should remove them.

ZA's Battlezone 2 Addons
Version 1.0 -- Author: Zero Angel, AHadley, SpAce

This is a compilation of addons, including:
  • ISDF Team Colors Fix: Improves how ISDF ships and buildings look in multiplayer
  • Cornered Colorize: Makes various gauges and in-game indicators have a cornered look to them.
  • Hyper SFX (ZA Mod) A sound pack that improves in-game sounds.
To Install
  1. Download ZA's Addons
  2. Extract to your Battlezone 2/Addon folder.
Notes:
If you have installed Cornered Colorize, Hyper SFX or ISDF Teamcolors addon already -- then remove them as this pack includes all of them. This pack does *not* include my 10-Player Playerlist fix. Read included readme for full credits and detailed info about included addons.

Maybe we can also add your utilities on the files page here:
http://www.bz2maps.us/files.html

That page needs to be updated anyways, can add your stuff and any other you suggest that are missing from the list. Please also indicate anything that is obsolete etc.

tanks!

About those teamcolor skins. They will unbalance gameplay in dark maps.

Also, I worked on them a lot since the version you've uploaded there, which were more a rough version. The newer ones (including Scion ones) are in the UEP and can be freely ripped out. And thanks, by the way, I learnt a lot about texturing by finishing the unfinished ones you left behind :)

Ah yes, the UEP ones integrate your improvements.

Are you sure they are the old Pre-UEP ones though? I believe I did pull them out of the correct folder.

That's not an issue. If a map is dark enough to be of concern to people, they will simply turn lighting off anyways. I've made some night maps in my time, and I have never ever used 'true' darkness to obscure things -- it seems better to simply darken the terrain and use a dark sky color to make it appear night -- perhaps blending it with a little bit of sky darkening to make it more believable.
