As always. Here are a list of suggested changes based on my observations.

Changes I mentioned before:

Builder Upgrade kiln from any position - Currently the builder must walk in front of the kiln to upgrade it. While this may seem like a small annoyance for most it can be quite impactful in situations where time is a necessity.


Scion:

Lancer multi-lock AL engagement range - 185:
Guass ammo cost reduction

ISDF:

Rkt Tank tag AI engagement range - 200: Currently it fires tag from 300m
Msl scout shadow msl engagement range - 185:
Mtr Bike ammo reduction?

Hadeon:

Adding: Xares DB to Mega Xeno - Comes with Dragon Blast and Burst for 65 Scrap. KEEP Xares SGS
Locust ai engagement range - 180:
Stock Xares Ammo reduction. Maybe 15%?

Daedlian:

Improving HP of daedlian empties - i think you missed a 0 in your hp amount with them because they are paper thin still. Impossible to win with them when las does 60 damage

New Normal Changes:



Maps for handicap games -

Was wondering if it would be possible if we modified or created map to help players play against tougher opponents to promote more commanding in the community. An additional pool convenient for them but not an easy base pool or some additional loose.

Example: Red Slope

In Red Slope, 1 side will have an additional pool outside the base area on the down slope. Players can still attack it and its technically not a base pool just convenient for the less experienced commander team.

Naturally as players progress and improve it will become more apparent that they don't need the additional pool.




Theory Based Changes:

Now onto theory based changes that have been presented to me from different players and thought of personally.

Fac producing empties:

Increasing the speed of arm crate drops(Huge bottleneck currently)

Increasing weapon crate hp?

Give Comm bunkers the ability to paint multiple targets within their range?

Relay Bunker: 200m - can build more than 1
Eye of Xyr: 200m - Can build more than 1
Overseer: 200m - Doesn't matter due to blink and they have OP jammers.

Also revert Sonic damage back to stock, it's useless right now especially for heavy armor. Mortarion agrees. You can put the travel speed back to stock also, but even now it's still hard for most people to hit anything with it.

Some other ideas:

Make Overseer cost 85 scrap and make Scion early game a bit stronger.

Give ISDF assault Laser 150m range like instead of 100m so it's not completely useless. It's the same value as Chain and Minigun. Seeing this used on rats in strats would be interesting.

Make it so you can only drop weapons 300m from Armory. To prevent AT-Stab/Plasma Cannon drops on heavy units in mid.

Remove MAG charging sound so enemies can't hear and people will actually use the weapon. Or make it only audible for the player using it. It's not OP because if you let a tank sneak up on you in the first place like that then I don't know what you're doing. Should also make it viable against absorbtion instead of deflection so it's actually an effective counter against blink. Would be nice seeing them little warriors blink in close and get an unpleasant surprise from a MAG sabre.

Give SP-Stab faster travel speed. About as fast as Sonic is now I think. This could make SP/Chain sabres a good choice. Maybe give it same range as Chain as well?

Actually I think a lot of weapons weapons have too slow travel speed atm. SP-Stab, AT-Stab, Sonic, Plasma, etc. I think it was faster in 1.2 but got slower due to the DirectX9 engine switch in 1.3.

This is a very good idea. Shouldn't count for RF tanks tho.

Ignore everything scorp said because it's born out of being owned. Especially the weapon crate thing hahaha he HATES it when i drop sonic on his assault tanks.

Only thing from his autism was sonic dmg to H. Its pretty poor right now. There was a change from where it was in testing to current which saw a big drop in its dmg

If you're not gonna apply my ideas I'm just gonna add them to my own mod. Which will be more played than VSR when it comes out.

yes to all changes and doubling the values where applicable


Some of the changes suggested by Dom have been noted for future polls.
Some of the engage range changes I may just do without a poll, particularly decreasing locust engage range.

You're JUST knocking them down because it's me suggesting them. Had I suggested Comm Bunker being able to paint you would have laughed at me. Really stupid and unfair treatment. Very hypocritical of you guys.

No point balancing scion. They are imbalanced by design. Make them too strong they get to arc/blink easier which ultimately leads to titans gg.

Following the Arc tree gives you lancers or even warriors with Quill/guass/stasis if you willing to spend 50 on a dower. They technically aren't weak but isdf and hadeon are VERY strong early game.

Or you could be more mindful of your units on the field. Just move the unit 5m and shoot the crate
