Just coming back to the game and I noticed an issue with my settings where objects would flicker and disappear.

I tried taking a screenshot but they came out all black.

Is there any specific settings I should have set?

current settings

I think bz2 may have an issue with the reso you are running it at.

Try dumbing it down to 1920x1080 .. windowed mode OFF (you have it on) and preferably use refresh rate of 60 (you currently have 30 selected).

you got (3) GTX 1080 TI's?

Holy shit Dom is a RICH motherfucker.

3 of those things are fucking overkill. What are you gonna be playing, 5 clients of The Witcher 3 at the same time on 5 different monitors?

Did you run the dx9 web installer included with the 1.3 patch?
Updating gfx drivers might be a good idea too..

Hes probably using those cards for the seti@home project trying to find scions in space.

Myself I participate in the Cosmology@Home, which is a neighbour to the SETI@Home. The BOINC client - which all these projects run on, which the acronym stands for Berkeley Open Infrastructure Network Computing - does use GPU memory, next to the sheer computational power of the processor. If I was outside of BOINC, I would buy a low-range laptop, as my priority in having a PC is comfortable Internet browsing. Instead of that, I have a mid-range laptop, which I consider enough, but since I have started participating, when I look for a PC, I want it to have as many able logical processors as possible - to run multiple tasks simultaneously - accompanied by sensibly powerful graphics card, but really, only laptops are the choice, even though their final performance is lower compared to desktops. Laptop gives me sense of mobility, even if it is illusionary, as I very rarely take computer with me when I go. I rather have a book. Interesting thing is, though, while the most PC-consuming areas of activity typically have been the gaming and advanced graphics design, it comes out BOINC will use as much as you have, meaning the slider has far reaching end, making it a big thing devoid basically of minimum requirements, unless we speak of client system compatibility and Internet connection. For the costs of participation, the only one is that of an electric bill of a rig running some over a dozen hours per day on maximum performance, in particular when left alone with sleep mode off.

Only two.

As for the resolution Ill test it out tonight. Everytime I come back to bz2 it takes me a few days to get my settings right again. That and it's been super busy

@Scorp

It's for work/trading. Not for fun at all :)
